speed up firefox

SPEED UP FIREFOX (only for firefox2)

if u don't have fire fox then switch to it i was also using IE7 but my frnd suggested me i didn't switched
then he forced me and i thought lets give a try and it was good and faster and better in all respect and
this trick make it like rocket as compared to IE 7

trick 1,2&3 i did it by understanding firefox and the last one read it in a magzine a lot earlier but
remm so putted it down

Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit enter. Scroll down and look for the following entries:

Alter the entries as follows:

1. Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
2. Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining " to "true"
3. set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This means it will make
30 requests at once.
4. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and
set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on
information it recieves.

works with previous version of firefox3

* Name: browser.sessionstore.interval
* Preference Needs to be Created: No
* Preference Type: Integer
* Default Value: 10000
* Possible values:
* The number of milliseconds between session restore saving.
For example, entering in 1000 would cause the session restore data to be saved
every 1 second, whereas a value of 20000 would make it happen every 20 seconds.
